HAPPY DRAGON YEAR, EVERYONE! :D
I take special pride in having been born a(n earth) dragon because, HELLO, LEGENDARY MYSTICAL CREATURE. 8D Also I like to imagine being under Merlin's command. ;) My CNY resolutions: work much much harder for the things that truly matter, establish a much much stronger relationship with the people I love (read: talk more openly with them and stop being such an emotionally-constipated freak), and be braver. I can do this.
Anyway! Today is a holiday, but I'm still feeling pretty damn tired and I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow. And the rest of the week. If I can have my way, I'll just isolate myself in a room for days and read all the fic and draw all the art and just sleep and nibble on choice snacks in between. But for now I have to work my ten-and-a-half-hour day, finish design commissions, and accomplish my grad school application.
I am actually also planning on trying for a scholarship to Central European University next year. Their gender studies program looks promising, I can possibly specialize in queer theory if I want to, and I've heard good things about the school, so... Lol. STUDYING: IT TURNS ME ON.
In other news, lookit! We have a new puppy:
Named him Blond Junno after this idiot, but hey_cee@Twitter calls him "BJ" so we can pretend that he's also called "Bradley James". XD He's a two-month-old golden retriever and labrador mix, adorably round and at the moment nearly smaller than legos. He's only been with us a week (I shall miss him during the days that I am not at home), but he's already just as much a part of the family as these two rascals, who have a love/terrified-of relationship with him right now. It's very amusing to watch.
Speaking of watching things, I still cannot relate to everyone's Reichenbach feels because MURPHY D8 (aka work, more work, most? And my room being taken away from me because of my great aunts and uncles visiting again. Why'd I decide to go back to living with my grandfolks again? Lol my life. I did manage to go out with friends at some point, which... awesome.) I got to watch the latest episode of Glee on TV this morning, though. Which TOTALLY NOT THE SAME THING, but I just had to say: can they just stick to performing musical numbers, please? Because they're actually still good with those.
Oh, and I've been reading the Hunger Games trilogy so I won't be a total n00b while watching the movie in
Also, lmao, the shit fans notice:
